Core Competencies

Based on the three key teaching and research directions (metallic materials, electronic and optoelectronic materials, and multifunctional materials) formulated by the Department, in addition to considering the formulation of each material course when arranging the curriculum, the research directions of faculty members are also based on these directions.

Educational goals at each stage:


  1. 1. Bachelor's degree program: Cultivate engineering talents with basic science and engineering, material expertise and ethics, pragmatic innovation and sustainable concepts.
  2. 2. Master's program: Cultivate professional engineers who pay equal attention to material theory and practice, innovative research and development, and macro vision.
  3. 3. Doctoral program: Cultivate cross-field integrated talents with independent research capabilities, innovative thinking and international perspectives.
