When I filled out my application form at the university, I asked many seniors that they thought the Department of Materials had a broad future in the science and technology industry. After seeing the environment of the department, I finally chose Department of Materials Science and Engineering, I-Shou University. In the process of studying in college, I think setting goals is the most important, including coursework, laboratories, and whether to attend graduate school in the future. In terms of coursework, I was originally ignorant of the material, but then followed the teacher’s footsteps to learn relevant knowledge, which made me very interested in research.
In the first semester of my freshman year, I entered Professor Wang Huisen’s laboratory, where I could learn things other than coursework, such as instrument operation, experimental skills and teamwork. cooperate. Under the leadership of professors and seniors, I fully understand the operation mode of the entire laboratory so that I can quickly integrate into it. I am very grateful to the professor for giving me the opportunity to write and pass the National Science Council's College Student Research Project when I was a sophomore, allowing me to be exposed to special experiments earlier than people of the same grade. Although the experiment was not completely smooth, I cultivated a lot of knowledge in the process. How I think and solve problems.
I have benefited a lot from studying in the Materials Department of I-Shou University. Studying in a good environment can help me grow. Choosing the Materials Department is the right choice. I have decided to sincerely recommend my fellow students to join this big family.
