Since I was a child, I have particularly enjoyed physical operations and research and thinking. Therefore, when choosing my university application, I considered the science and engineering group as my first choice. I discovered that the science and engineering group is subdivided into many professional departments. After discussing with my teachers and family, I found that the materials department has great prospects in terms of further education or employment in the future, so I finally chose to study materials science and engineering at I-Shou University. Tie.
When I first entered the university, I felt a lot of pressure due to the original teaching mode, but every professor was very attentive in leading the students to learn and explore, even if they encountered difficulties. I always take the trouble to help students solve their doubts. In addition, I-Shou University promotes peers to organize group reading groups, which allows me to discuss and learn from each other. Whenever I encounter a problem that I don’t understand, I go to ask the professor for help. Therefore, in During my freshman year, I made a group of close friends, grew up and learned together, and established good professional basic knowledge in the field of materials.
When I was a sophomore, I joined Professor Li Guorong’s composite materials laboratory to conduct special research. I am very grateful to Teacher Guorong and my senior sister for their careful guidance, whether in special research The teachers gave me great help in terms of the problems I encountered on the topic, as well as the skills of report production and response etiquette when preparing for recommendation, etc., and they constantly accompanied me in discussions and exercises. I benefited a lot during the period of studying in the laboratory. I used to be nervous when I went on stage, but now I am able to talk eloquently and stand on the stage to share my special research results with everyone.
When I was in college, what impressed me most was the operation of multiple instruments. The specialty laboratory of the Department of Materials at I-Shou University has many complete instruments and equipment. This allows students to use a variety of equipment to support their experimental results in their research and learning journey. In addition, the department society will also hold many large-scale activities to gather students’ cohesion. We welcome all students to join the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at I-Shou. Family, create your own college life!
