Apprenticing to the master's program at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, National Chung Hsing University
Time flies, the sun and the moon fly by, and in a blink of an eye, it is already the second semester of senior year...
I recall that when I was in high school, I had no interest in studying and focused all my attention on computer games and club activities. As a result, my grades at that time were very poor. After the results of the academic test were released, I saw the appalling report card, and I was immediately confused about the future. Finally, on the recommendation of my high school class teacher, I enrolled in the Department of Materials Science at Ishou. Looking back now, this was really one of the best decisions I have ever made.
After I went to college, in order to form a habit, I told myself not to play games for the time being, as long as I could survive a month. After all, it takes at least 21 days to form a habit. So I arrive on time for class and listen carefully to the teacher's lecture on the stage. I go back to the dormitory and have nothing to do. I pick up my homework and write it down. When these things become a habit, I will feel that these are very natural things. Basically, I will take the test If you review beforehand, your grades won’t be too bad. I am also very grateful to the teachers in the department. The teachers here are very attentive in teaching. When we encounter problems, they take the trouble to teach us. They also take the time to hold tutoring classes for students who are lagging behind. I have also caught up with a lot of them here. schedule. After my sophomore year, there will be various experimental classes one after another, such as metal experiments, ceramic experiments, physical properties experiments, etc., and I will learn a lot of material-related knowledge and instrument operation skills. The most troublesome thing after each experiment is to write the experimental results report. Since the experiment is conducted in groups, I work with the team members to report day and night before the deadline for submitting the report, and I also gain some extra revolutionary emotions. ! .
When I was in my junior year, I unknowingly became more and more interested in materials, and my grades were maintained well, so I decided to continue studying in graduate school. In the next semester, I will start to prepare for the admission to the graduate school. In addition to sorting out data, writing papers and oral examination materials, I also need to practice oral examinations. I am very grateful to Teacher Chen Houguang and my senior sister who helped me a lot during this period. In the end, I also got a good admission. of research institute.
I feel that our department is like a big family. After school, we often eat, chat, and play ball with our seniors and classmates. All good.
In addition, we also organize many activities, including New Year's Camp, Big and Small Cup Ball Competition, Christmas Dance, Pool Competition, and Beach Cleaning Activities... . These activities can expand your circle of friends and create beautiful and unforgettable memories with classmates and friends.
Finally, I want to say that although the environment here is monotonous in color, it is not boring. Although the campus repeats the same rhythm, the stories every day are different. If you have time, you might as well come and take a look. The I-Shou Materials Department welcomes you to join us.
