Looking back on my freshman year, I was still ignorant of the Department of Materials. However, following the guidance of the teacher during the learning process, I slowly entered the world of materials, which suddenly opened up my horizons. In the Materials Department of I-Shou University, the interaction between teachers and students is very good. There is no distance barrier between teachers and students. The teachers always answer our questions patiently and carefully. Being able to further understand the material manufacturing process and related knowledge starts from joining Mr. Wang Huisen’s laboratory for special research. From the first moment I stepped into the laboratory, I was ignorant and instantly felt the momentum and attitude of the professional team’s operation. The special topic is that you can learn instrument operation and experimental skills outside the classroom. At first, I felt that the seniors in the laboratory all had a professional attitude. During the long time of getting along and studying, the seniors and I gradually became good friends and supported each other. My friend, I have learned a lot of experimentation and presentation skills from my teachers and seniors, and it has made me grow a lot. I am really grateful to them. I was honored to have the opportunity to conduct academic exchanges at Nanjing University of Technology and the University of Jakarta in Indonesia during my college years. Not only did it broaden my horizons and experience the cultures and learning resources and attitudes of different countries, it also allowed me to cherish the resources of the department even more after returning to China. Put more effort into your schoolwork and study.
If there is an opportunity in the future, I hope that my fellow students can also go abroad to see the outside world. There are people outside the world, and the outside world is definitely bigger than you think. IShou Materials Department is a very warm family. I hope you can join us and work hard for the future together.
